In the rolling hills of Catalonia’s prestigious Penedès wine region, Masia Monte Sereno rises with stately elegance against the backdrop of Montserrat’s jagged peaks. Built in 1924 and meticulously restored, this historic Catalan mansion seamlessly weaves classic architecture with modern-day ease, creating a countryside escape that feels both timeless and elevated.

Set across three spacious levels, the interiors are bathed in light. Arched doorways and high ceilings echo the property’s heritage, while oak floors, neutral hues and elegant lighting ground it firmly in the present. The open-plan living areas invite slow afternoons and lively gatherings alike, and the professional-grade kitchen is designed for sharing meals, and long, wine-fuelled evenings. Six double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offer comfort and privacy for larger groups. The master suite enjoys far-reaching valley views and includes a dressing room and serene en-suite, while a hidden chill-out room in the tower promises a unique hideaway with panoramic vistas.

Step outside to find a 20-metre pool surrounded by lush lawns and shaded terraces. An independent entertainment pavilion houses an indoor kitchen, bar, and social dining space, perfect for celebratory meals or relaxed aperitifs. Wander further and you’ll find fruit trees, raised vegetable beds, and a working winery, where guests can try their hand at producing their own cava or wine.

Whether hosting a retreat, marking a special occasion, or simply gathering with loved ones, Masia Monte Sereno offers an extraordinary setting. The estate sits in peaceful seclusion, yet is about 30 minutes from the beaches of Sitges, 15 minutes from Vilafranca del Penedès, and around an hour from the vibrant streets of Barcelona.
