Rising above the shimmering waters of Istán Lake, Villa Vista Istan feels more like a private sanctuary than a traditional holiday home. Approached through a quiet, green landscape, the villa immediately draws the eye with its warm architectural tones and layered terraces that cascade gently toward the water below. The sense of space, privacy and connection to nature is unmistakable from the moment you arrive.

Inside, the villa unfolds as a series of carefully curated environments, each designed to inspire both calm and creativity. Natural textures, sculptural lighting and hand-selected art pieces create an atmosphere that feels grounded yet expressive. Living areas are generous and fluid, inviting groups to gather comfortably while still allowing quieter corners for reflection. Large windows frame uninterrupted lake and mountain views, ensuring the surrounding landscape remains a constant presence.

The kitchen and dining spaces are designed for shared experiences, whether that means long breakfasts, celebratory dinners or relaxed evenings together. Elsewhere, the cinema room offers an immersive setting for movie nights or presentations, while the hidden speakeasy bar adds an unexpected, intimate touch for evenings that stretch late into the night.

Villa Vista Istan’s wellness spaces are a defining feature. The Temple Room welcomes guests into a calming environment suited to yoga, meditation or group gatherings, softened by rugs and art sourced from around the world. A fully equipped gym looks out toward nature, while the wellness circuit, complete with sauna, ice bath and Japanese hot bath, encourages slow, restorative rituals.

Outside, terraces unfold in multiple layers, each offering a different way to enjoy the setting. Hammocks sway gently in shaded corners, outdoor lounges frame the views, and the infinity-style pool appears to merge seamlessly with the lake beyond. An outdoor dining area, barbecue and pizza oven make alfresco meals effortless, all accompanied by birdsong, warm breezes and golden light at sunset.

Despite its peaceful setting, Villa Vista Istan sits just ten minutes from Puerto Banús and the Golden Mile, offering a rare balance between seclusion and access to the coast.
